Forged Line Dance Company was founded in 2016, and is based in Bath. The company is creates accessible contemporary dance performances inspired by science and heritage. Forged Line received funding from Arts Council England for the creation of their recent work Treasure.
The company’s first full-length work Lina premiered in Bath in March 2017, and touring in 2017 and 2018 in theatres and as a site-specific show at the Herschel Museum, Bath, supported by the Herschel Society.

Emily completed an MA in dance performance in 2012 at the University of Chichester. Since then she has created work influenced by a background in both dance and music. Projects include choreographing in collaboration with a composer (Dromology, 2013) and a duet exploring rhythms and voice (ALL THIS TALK, 2014).
Emily performs with other dance and performance artists, including Cie. Willi Dorner (2013), Hannah Pickett Dance (2015), 3rd Stage Dance Company CIC, Verity Standen and Rosemary Lee, all 2016. She is also a community dance artist, teaching and leading creative sessions for adults and children across Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire.
